Táncsics Mihály utca 16. (No. 16 Táncsics Mihály Street)

This 18th century Baroque burgher's house survived the siege of 1944-1945 with only minor plaster and roof damage. On the left hand side of the ground floor a round arched gate opens, and next to it there are three simply framed windows with a beautiful neo-Baroque latticework. The second storey stone framed windows are placed between pilaster strips with capitals decorated by scrolls. The main decoration of the front is a Baroque mural painting put in a stucco frame and showing Christ and the Virgin Mary in the company of saints.
